A New Dynamics Travel guide will meet you at your resort. They can also meet you anywhere in Hurghada. Then you will head out on a snorkeling boat trip to Mahmya Island.
This is part of a Hurghada day tour and excursion. You will ride one of two Mahmya cruises. Both boats travel in the Red Sea. The ride lasts about one hour before you reach the island.
Mahmya Beach is to the south of Giftun Island National Park. It is on the coast of Hurghada. In Arabic, the name Mahmya means “the naturally Protected Area.”
To help protect the coral reef and the sea life, the boat does not drop anchor. Instead, it stays on mooring buoys near the bay. From there, smaller boats take you to the shore.
When you arrive, you can snorkel in the clear lagoon. There are coral heads spread around the water. You can also walk on the sandy beach. If you want, you can play beach volleyball. Or you can simply sit and relax on the white sand.
There is free Wi-Fi in the lounge area on Mahmya Island. For kids, there is an Aqua Trampoline. Lunch is served at the restaurant. The menu includes seafood and Italian dishes. Later, you can get drinks from the bar.
After the day on Mahmya Island, you will sail back to the jetty. Then you will be taken back to your hotel once the trip ends.
